Archive: Vadim Astrakhan and Ido Friedman Benefit Concert

We are thrilled to announce an unforgettable evening of music in support of Ukraine, featuring two extraordinary performers: Vadim Astrakhan and Ido Friedman.

Vadim Astrakhan is a brilliant guitarist and vocalist known for his versatility across genres—from lyrical ballads to jazz, blues, and rock. His passionate performances and expressive playing have earned him a devoted following. Vadim is also one of the most well-known translators of Vladimir Vysotsky, and he has performed his original English-language adaptations on stages around the world.

Beyond music, Vadim is a gifted writer and director—he translated Goethe’s Faust into English and wrote and directed the off-Broadway play A Shift of Opinion, showcasing his remarkable talent across artistic disciplines.

Joining him is the phenomenal Ido Friedman, a virtuoso pianist and Juilliard scholarship recipient whose artistry has captivated audiences globally. He has performed at Carnegie Hall, accompanied productions on Broadway, and brings a rare depth of expression to both classical and contemporary works. His last two concert with us were completely sold out and ended in standing ovations and multiple encores.

Together, Vadim and Ido promise an evening of deeply moving, genre-defying music—uniting their talents for a cause close to all our hearts. All proceeds will support Ukrainian medics and frontline defenders. Don’t miss this powerful night of music and purpose.
