Helping Hands for Ukraine
Our mission is to deliver vital humanitarian aid and medical supplies to those impacted by the war in Ukraine, ensuring full transparency and accountability for every project and donation. We ship aid directly to frontline doctors, field surgeons, and army medics, bypassing large warehouses.
First Aid & Trauma Kits
For two years we have been helping female army medics in Eastern Ukraine. We purchase American-made tourniquets and other medical supplies they urgently request. We send only what is needed, making our help as targeted and precise as possible.
What Makes Us Different?
We work with individual doctors, not hospitals
We work with individual soldiers, not army units
We work with people we trust and insist on full transparency.
We are a small group of volunteers, working from our garage, making every dollar count.
We negotiate every purchase, buying supplies at wholesale prices.
Supporting New Moms & Babies
In August of 2022 we started helping the Maternity Ward #6 in Kharkiv, Ukraine. Even before we became a non-profit, we have purchased a neo-natal machine, newborn beds, a large generator and countless surgical supplies. We continue shipping medical aid and prenatal vitamins donated by our amazing NJ community.
Medical Donations
We collect supplies from the local hospitals and ship them to field surgeons and other medics we deal with directly. As we sort the donations we work with individual doctors in Ukraine to ensure we ship only what is needed. (Unfortunately, that's almost everything)
We Cannot Just Watch
After two years of working as grassroots volunteers, we have decided to open a nonprofit in May 2024. Until the war is over, it is impossible to stand by. Even when the situation seems hopeless, there's always something we can do to help. Join us. There are always medical donations to pack, events to organize, tourniquets to be purchased.
Charity Concerts
To raise money for trauma kits and to pay for shipments to Ukraine, we organize charity concerts every month. Gathering for a good cause and listening to great music really brings the community together.
As winter approaches, Ukrainian soldiers on the frontlines face freezing temperatures and harsh conditions. We initially set out to collect 100 “winter kits,” which include essential items like thermals, body warmers, wool socks, and vitamins to keep them warm and healthy. Thanks to your incredible support and generous contributions from corporate sponsors, we quickly reached our goal—and then raised it to 500 kits. Now, we’re aiming even higher!
For this November Month of Giving, we need your help to provide 500 additional winter kits, making it 1,000 total. Each kit offers vital warmth and comfort to those defending their homeland. Every donation counts in keeping these brave men and women safe this winter. Let’s make a difference together!
Every $30 donation covers the cost of one complete kit—help us send them the support they need!
We have just one month to complete this mission. Your support will help us send these critical supplies in time for the winter freeze. Together, we can make sure Ukraine’s heroes are prepared for the cold.
Let’s make November count! 💙💛

Our Projects
Shipping Lifesaving Medical Supplies
We're fortunate to receive generous donations of surplus medical supplies from our partners and supporters. These critical resources include:
Surgical equipment and instruments
Medical gloves and personal protective gear
Wound care and dressing supplies
Surgical Kits and other life-saving devices
However, these donations are only half the battle. To get them into the hands of field surgeons and hospitals in Ukraine, we need your help to cover the cost of shipping.
Your support will help us transport these vital supplies from our sorting location to the front lines, clear customs and navigate complex logistics, ensure timely delivery to medical professionals and facilities
By contributing to our shipping fund, you'll be helping to bridge the gap between our donated supplies and the people who need them most. Every dollar counts, and your support will bring us one step closer to saving lives in Ukraine.
First Aid Support for Emergency Responders
We're providing critical first aid supplies to first responders and medical personnel on the front lines of the crisis in Ukraine. Our shipments include comprehensive first aid kits with essential medical supplies, such as:
Military-grade tourniquets to stop severe bleeding and save lives
Mylar Blankets
Bleed stop kits with Celox powder
Mobile splints
Bandages and wound dressings
Gauze and medical tape
Antiseptic wipes and pain relief medication
Medical gloves and face masks
These supplies enable first responders and medical personnel to provide critical care in emergency situations, treating injuries and saving lives. Your support helps us get these lifesaving resources to where they're needed most.

How we are changing lives
11 million people received aid in 2023
Helping Hands For Ukraine has been instrumental in addressing the urgent needs of those affected by the conflict. Our efforts have contributed to the broader humanitarian response that, in 2023, reached nearly 11 million people in Ukraine. The impact of our work is part of a collective effort that has seen the international donor community come together to support the Ukrainian people in their time of need.
18 million needed aid in winter of 2023
The aid we’ve facilitated through the donation of medical supplies are vital part of the support structure for healthcare providers. By ensuring that field surgeons and hospitals receive the necessary equipment, we’ve helped maintain essential medical services and care for those injured in the conflict. The significance of our contribution is reflected in the broader context where, during winter of 2023, more than 40% of the Ukrainian population—about 18 million people—needed some form of humanitarian assistance.
Our project is a testament to the power of collective action and the difference that each donation can make. It’s a reminder that even in the darkest times, there are helping hands reaching out to make a positive impact.
