Concert for Ukraine: An Evening of Music and Compassion
On September 21, 2024, the beautiful hall of Forte Piano Company in Paramus was filled with music and generosity as we hosted the Concert for Ukraine featuring an incredible violin and piano duet by Yuliya Basis and Andy Didorenko. The event, aimed at raising funds to support medical aid for Ukraine, was a magical night of music, community, and heartfelt support for a vital cause.
A Night to Remember
Yuliya and Andy, whose musical partnership spans over two decades, delivered an unforgettable performance with a varied repertoire that included works by Ukrainian composers. Their seamless collaboration and individual mastery on their instruments captivated the audience from the very first note. Their journey together, from concert halls across the globe to fundraising events for Ukraine, added a special meaning to the evening.
The concert wasn’t just about the music—it was about helping those in need. With all proceeds directed towards the purchase and shipment of medical supplies to Ukraine, the event raised an impressive $4,400.
