On the enchanting evening of July 27, 2024, nearly 100 guests gathered at a Ridgewood, NJ home, for a magical backyard concert featuring the talented vocalist Nadia Chechet. A distinguished graduate of Berklee College of Music, Nadia captivated the audience with her versatile repertoire, including French jazz, contemporary pop, and her original songs. The highlight of the evening came when the audience, swaying and waving the flashlights on their phones, created a truly magical atmosphere. This impromptu light show added a unique and unforgettable dimension to the night.
The event, organized by Helping Hands for Ukraine, successfully raised $4,000 for lifesaving medical aid. The proceeds will go towards purchasing and shipping essential medical supplies to those affected by the crisis in Ukraine. The evening concluded with a heartfelt standing ovation for Nadia, prompting her to perform several additional songs, much to the delight of the crowd. The relaxed BYOB setting and delicious food further added to the warmth and camaraderie of the night.
