Our Current Projects
At Helping Hands for Ukraine, we hold a steadfast belief in the transformative power of peace and the sanctity of human life. Guided by these unwavering values, we are dedicated to delivering lifeline support to those ravaged by the crisis in Ukraine. Our focus is clear: to rush first aid, medical supplies and basic essentials to first responders, field medics, surgeons and hospitals.
4 Years of Full-Scale War
We are a small, volunteer-run charity—but we make a big impact. 98% of all donations go directly toward helping Ukrainian medics (2% are unavoidable credit card processing fees). We send tourniquets, medical kits, humanitarian aid to doctors and nurses we trust. Shipments go out every 2 weeks. In 2025 alone we delivered more than 16,000 pounds of humanitarian supplies. Your support will go where it is needed most. Here is how you can help:
💙 How your donation helps:
If you prefer, you can also support us by ordering directly from our Amazon wish list. The shipping address will automatically populate with ours, and we’ll carefully repack everything and ship it to Ukraine.
Please give what you can — it all adds up!
💼 Corporate Match!
Please check with your employer — many companies double or even triple donations,
especially in November. Often, it takes just one email to HR to multiply your impact.
Thank you for your generosity and for standing with Ukraine’s defenders.
Shipping Lifesaving Medical Supplies
We’re fortunate to receive generous donations of surplus medical supplies from our partners and supporters. These critical resources include:
- Surgical equipment and instruments
- Medical gloves and personal protective gear
- Wound care and dressing supplies
- Surgical Kits and other life-saving devices
However, these donations are only half the battle. To get them into the hands of field surgeons and hospitals in Ukraine, we need your help to cover the cost of shipping.
Your support will help us transport these vital supplies from our sorting location to the front lines, clear customs and navigate complex logistics, ensure timely delivery to medical professionals and facilities
By contributing to our shipping fund, you’ll be helping to bridge the gap between our donated supplies and the people who need them most. Every dollar counts, and your support will bring us one step closer to saving lives in Ukraine.
First Aid Support for Emergency Responders
We’re providing critical first aid supplies to first responders and medical personnel on the front lines of the crisis in Ukraine. Our shipments include comprehensive first aid kits with essential medical supplies, such as:
- Military-grade tourniquets to stop severe bleeding and save lives
- Mylar Blankets
- Bleed stop kits with Celox powder
- Mobile splints
- Bandages and wound dressings
- Gauze and medical tape
- Antiseptic wipes and pain relief medication
- Medical gloves and face masks
These supplies enable first responders and medical personnel to provide critical care in emergency situations, treating injuries and saving lives. Your support helps us get these lifesaving resources to where they’re needed most.
Supporting Expecting Moms and Their Babies
Helping Hands for Ukraine is committed to supporting the most vulnerable members of Ukrainian society – expectant mothers and newborn babies. We work directly with maternity wards in hospitals in Eastern Ukraine to provide essential items for mothers-to-be and newborns, including:

Diapers and formula - Maternity care supplies,
Medical equipment for newborn care - Care packages for moms-to-be, including pre-natal vitamins and other essential items
Our goal is to ensure that every mother and baby receives the care and support they need to thrive, even in the midst of conflict. Your donation helps us provide these critical essentials and brings hope to families in crisis
